El casco urbano, de origen árabe, está formado por casas de una o dos plantas; sus calles estrechas conservan el trazado sinuoso y anárquico de sus orígenes, adaptándose las viviendas a la irregularidad del terreno.
Todavía encontrará hornacinas en las fachadas de algunas casas, que cobijan la imagen de algún santo. Del conjunto sobresale el edificio de la Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. de Gracia (s.XVI y XVII).
El centro vital del pueblo se encuentra en la Plaza de España, limitado por el Ayuntamiento, la espalda de la iglesia y los principales edificios de la villa.
En las cercanías del pueblo podrá visitar lugares de interés como la llamada Hoya de los Muertos y la Cuesta de la Matanza, lugar donde se produjo una derrota de las tropas del Adelantado de Antequera en su intento de conquistar estas tierras.
En cuanto a los platos típicos que podrá degustar son el gazpachuelo y la sopa de maimones, hecha con pan y ajo. Su vino y la exquisita pasa completan el apartado gastronómico.
Finalmente, entre sus fiestas destaca las Fiestas en Honor de San Bartolomé, patrón de Moclinejo, del 23 al 25 de agosto. Tiene lugar la procesión de San Bartolomé por las calles del pueblo, hay carreras de cintas infantil en bicicletas y otros juegos; y además incluye una Noche Flamenca.
